As far back as I can remember, art has always been a part of my life. While other kids were taking music, dance and sports lessons, my mom allowed me to sign up for any art class available. I knew early on that my career path would lead me in the direction of art, because if I couldn't create, I wouldn't feel whole.
After completing college with a BFA and teaching degree, I taught art for seven years at Avonworth Elementary school in Pittsburgh until relocating to Newport, Rhode Island. There, I was able to begin exploring with the decorative arts, working with local designers doing murals, faux painting and painted furniture in homes and businesses in the community. I moved back to the Pittsburgh area in 2003 and have been making my mark here ever since.
I feel I am one of those very lucky and blessed people that loves what I do. The size of the job never matters, as long as there is paint and creativity involved, I am happy to go to work!
